ChooseBooks.com opened with a new approach to on-line book selling. Instead of focusing only on sales, this company shows its appreciation for buyers with many extra features and services.

ChooseBooks.com's front page has the look of a fine book store. There are no distracting sale icons. Instead the page is dominated by an advanced search engine that offers several new book finding helps. This site could set a new standard for the industry.

The company offers many services not found on other book sites. Michael Tokman, president of ChooseBooks.com, says, "Our customers deserve as much education and extra service as we can provide. We believe that many services freely given are what our customers want and deserve." The company has a Frequent Buyer Program (like the airlines). All you have to do is sign in or create an account so there is a place to store the points you receive each time you buy a book. The Resource page offers a free education about books. There are articles, newsletters and links to other sites with book related materials. You can even order free book marks off this page.

"We want to make book buying easy and fun", said Tokman. "We offer a list of book seller Specialists. There are more than 400 different categories on our Specialist page. Buyers can contact these dealers for advice or for help in finding scarce titles. ChooseBooks.com never gets in the way of direct communication between buyers and book seller interactions. We want customers to enjoy the contact with our book sellers. They are a unique and varied lot. We even have a number of authors listing their inventory. Most are willing to sign or inscribe copies of their books."

In December 2002, the company decided it wanted to give back to the community and they created a Nonprofit Outreach program. Tokman invites inquires from interested groups. There is an e-mail link on the ChooseBooks.com's About Us page.

Book buyers, who want something more for their book buying dollars, will visit: http://www.choosebooks.com .
