Aloha Learning Solutions Group saluted for excellence
Aloha Technologies technical writers win Society of Technical Communications awards
BEDFORD, TX -- Aloha Technologies, makers of Aloha point-of-sale software and information solutions, is proud to announce today that members of their training and documentation department -- known as the Learning Solutions Group (LSG) -- were honored at an award ceremony held by the Society for Technical Communication. In addition, Alohas Art Director was also recognized.
In the Cover Design" category, Aloha won an Award of Merit for Artwork. The chief contributors for this were Laurie McCawley and Matt Michaels. In the For Online Help" category, the writers took home an Award of Merit for Gift Card Online Documentation. Contributors for this category were Kyle Overton and Laurie McCawley. Aloha was also recognized with an Award of Merit for the TableService Managers Guide with Add-ons in the For Technical Publications -- Software Guides." The contributors for this category were Todd Taylor and Laurie McCawley. In the same category, the Inventory Control Managers Guide received an Award of Excellence. The contributors for this guide were Tom Moore and Laurie McCawley.
The Society for Technical Communication (STC) annually honors excellence in the field of technical communications, such as software guides, hardware guides, reference sheets, online help and artwork.
