Maverick Communications produces enchanting pre-Oscar suite.

Love & Beauty suite hosts celebrities and entertainment executives at LErmitage Hotel.

Beverly Hills, CA - (April 2, 2003) --    One of the most popular suites in all Southern California during Oscar week, the Love & Beauty Suite produced by Maverick Communications at the LErmitage Hotel won rave reviews from the many stylists, celebrities and studio executives who stopped by for a little special attention.

   Created to promote the products of Maverick Communications array of beauty clients, the Love & Beauty Suite offered guests tarot readings; neck and hand massages; mini-spa treatments; make-up consultation; rare tea brews; and a very special goodie bag.    

   Goodie bags filled with luxury body products, books, and other items went home with Oscar winners Julia Roberts, Marisa Tomei, and Shirley Jones.

   A variety of celebrity stylists including Philip Bloch, George Blodwell, and Nikki Siegenberg took collections of key beauty products to their A-list clients.

   Also in attendance were Academy Award nominees, Michael Semanick and Hammond Peek (Lord of the Rings); screen actors Willow Cobenais, Kelly Kiernan, and Etirsa Coons; stylists Annie Spong, Jen Cooper, Liz Rizzo, and Tracy Wirtz; and more than 30 key producers and directors from Hollywoods most successful film production companies.

   While the global political climate did cast a pall over Hollywood during the week before the Oscars, guests to our Love & Beauty Suite managed to take their minds off troubling news for a few moments and enjoy some simple, but uplifting services in a warm and soothing atmosphere," said Maverick Communications Director, Carolyn Leber. I think the spiritual and uplifting nature of our event was relevant and this is what kept important guests coming back day after day."

   Those toting home Love & Beauty goodie bags were treated to products from Pharmacopia; Flora Napa Valley; B.; Lavender Meadows; Ten Speed Press (How to be Happy Dammit!); Republic of Tea (Tea tins and the book Tea-Chings); Stephen Est. 1985; and La Bella Donna Cosmetics. Bags were designed by Stephanie Johnson.

   Tarot, Horoscope Chart, and I-Ching readings were offered by Isha Lerner; Christine Payne--Towler, and Paul OBrien of Tarot.com. Full leaf teas were provided by the Republic of Tea; massages by Mialyn Hanna, Velvet Durano of Massage Direct, and Lisa Schwaber. Tresha Heath and Kelly Williams provided mini-Spa treatments courtesy of Kissing Fish and makeup from La Bella Donna. Teitjen Fischer provided Bumble & Bumble hair care products, Smashbox Makeup and Makeup For Ever lines.

   The Love & Beauty Suite, a special presentation of luxury services and gifts to a select group of invitation-only guests, was available March 19th through March 22nd at the LErmitage Hotel in Beverly Hills. Created to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of the Academy Awards, the Love & Beauty suite showered guests with a variety of luxury services including massage and mini-spa treatments; rare tea brews; Tarot and I-Ching readings; custom Horoscope charts; and a luxurious goodie bag. Plans are currently underway for next years event.
