HELP ON THE HOMEFRONT
Helping those on the homefront so that those on the frontlines don't worry
MilitaryMommy understands what it's like to have a deployed spouse away from the family when things go wrong. You get worried. You don't know who to turn to. You don't know where to go. You don't have the money to get what you need. We understand because we've been there or we are there now.
So instead of sending carepackages to the troops overseas (there are plenty of organizations who do that), MilitaryMommy focuses on the mothers and the families left behind. "We want to help those on the homefront so that those on the frontlines don't worry. Therefore, we're providing free carepackages for families whose spouses are deployed and seeking assistance, counseling, and even starter diapers, formula, and baby care items. " said Beth Mahoney, MilitaryMommy Owner and military wife and mother of three.
MilitaryMommy Online is known for it's dedication and committment to military mothers and their families. The organization has provided resources, assistance, and networking for military mothers since January 2002. "As a military wife and mother, I don't think I could survive my husband being deployed without the help of family, friends, and organizations that cater to military families." said Mahoney, "And during these times of war, economic hardship and emotional distress, we need to support the families left behind so that the soldiers can focus on their job and just come home safely."
