Global Basketball Services is a Pro Basketball free agent/ tryout camp located at 3636 Aldino Road Churchville, MD 21208.

Brian Rowsom Director/ Founder is pleased to announce Chris Hines of Mint Hill, NC as the new Assistant Director. Chris is a Dillon native, graduated class of 83 and have grew several succesful businesses over the past 10 years. Chris is the youngest son of James and Thomasena Hines of Riverdale.

Brian Rowsom was a 2nd round draft choice of the Indiana Pacers in 1987. After playing his Rookie year, he was signed by the Charlotte hornets in 1988. He played for 2 years before signing to play in France in 1991. After playing in France, he signed to play in Israel for 4 years. In 1995, he signed with Toshiba in the Japanese Basketball League where he played for 2 years. In 1998,Brian retired after playing 1 year in Manchester for the British Basketball League.

Brian Rowsom had a vision. He noticed that primarily only those players from the premier colleges were being sought after and eventually drafted. However, Brian realized that there was also an abundance of talent within such venues as the Community Leagues, YMCAS, AAU, small colleges, in addition to other areas that were going virtually un-noticed. He further realized that the majority of these players had no idea as to how to precede in procuring a Pro Basketball career. This need for guidance and direction became the catalyst for the creation of Global Basketball Services. A service that has been providing knowledge and guidance for Pro-Basketball hopefuls for over 4 years with over 60 players signing with Pro teams worldwide.

Global Basketball Services Tryout Camp is a 4 day event that consists of being teamed up for games against each other, 3 point shooting contest, slam dunk contest, and an All Star game consisting of 20 players carefully selected by participating coaches, agents, and scouts.

The next Pro Basketball Tryout Camp will be held at UNC-Wilmington the training camp home of the Washington Wizards.
