Beach Cities Robotics Wins Major Awards

Beach Cities Robotics Team 294 www.bcrobotics.org placed as a Regional Finalist and won the Johnson & Johnson Sportsmanship Award at the Southern California Regional April 5, 2003.

Beach Cities Robotics Team 294 www.bcrobotics.org placed as a Regional Finalist and won the Johnson & Johnson Sportsmanship Award at the Southern California Regional April 5, 2003.

The Sportsmanship Award celebrates outstanding sportsmanship and continuous gracious professionalism in the heat of competition, both on and off the playing field. The team was awarded the second highest honor bestowed on a team at a regional competition, the Engineering Inspiration Award, at their Phoenix Regional March 15, 2003.

Beach Cities Robotics Team 294 is made up of two rival schools, MCHS and RUHS, combined to compete together in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology www.usfirst.org). Call 310-944-9334 for more details.
