DRUM readers are urban achievers, creators, movers and shakers (primary age range between 18 -- 30 years old). Committed to a distinct quality of life as well as a comfortable standard of living for themselves and their loved ones, the apparent mantra is "LIVE LIFE TO A DIFFERENT BEAT." The magazine has a large non-Black readership who appreciate popular Black music and culture.
