Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved plans two fund raisers to help the uninsured.

Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved a non profit 501c3 providing health care for the underserved,uninsured, poor, and working poor is having a Silent Auction of May 18, 2003 at University of Detroit/Mercy. It will also hold it's Annual Dinner at Burton Manor in Livonia, Michigan on September 19, 2003. The Governor of Michigan Jennifer Granholm and Patti Kukkula the Executive Director for Detroit-Wayne County Mental Health Agency are scheduled to speak at the events.

Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved a non profit 501c3 will conduct two fund raisers to help the uninsured.

A Silent Auction will be held on May 18, 2003 at University of Detroit/Mercy conference center in Detroit, Michigan. This event is in collaboration with the Michigan Coalition for Human Rights. An Annual Dinner will be held at Burton Manor in Livonia, Michigan on September 19, 2003. Items for the Silent Auction and corporate support and sponsorship of the annual dinner are sought.

Z.I.A.D. Healthcare for the Underserved Inc. is serving the underserved in a sliding scale program in which private physicians volunteer to accept patients without insurance at their clinics based on their aboility to pay. The program in just six months has attracted 25 clinics in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties in Michigan and has served thousands of needy persons.

Over 41,000,000 million people in America have no health insurance. Over 1,200,000 in Michigan have no health insurance. 8 out of 10 persons with no health insurance work. The problem is hugh and Z.I.A.D. will continue to grow to provide help for those who need it.
