GOSPEL EXPLOSION 2003
ALBANY, NY - The University at Albany, State University of NYs (SUNY) campus radio station, WCDB 90.9 FM presents a Gospel Explosion 2003 on Friday, May 2, in the Uptown Campus Ballroom, 2nd floor, at 1400 Washington Avenue.
P.O. BOX 38217, ALBANY, NY 12203
The purpose of this event is to spread the gospel of healing, reconciliation and unity to all churches and denominations around the Capital District area. This event will feature ministries of the arts through the Word of God, song, dance, praise and worship. This years theme "One Accord, One Place, One Sound," taken from Acts 2:1-4, will break the division that exists within churches and the many different denominations.
God placed this event on my heart on December 7, 2002. I believe it is His desire to bridge a universal connection for healing, deliverance, unification, fellowship, and reconciliation for All people of God," said Tisha Y. Lewis, coordinator of Gospel Explosion 2003, and gospel show host of The Healing Room on Thursdays from 12pm -2pm on WCDB 90.9 FM.
In lieu of an admission charge, each person is asked to donate at least one childrens book. These books will be sent to the Adult Education Institute at the University of Ghana-Legon, and the Greater Bright Early Childhood Development Center in Accra, Ghana, West Africa, two places where Lewis, a reading doctoral student, taught during a Study Abroad program to Ghana, Africa in July 2002.
