(Sanibel, FL 1Apr03) Same-Page.com (SP) announced today that it has partnered with the Cheshire Academy in Connecticut to begin testing its online collaboration service with a select group of students. Same-Page.com is providing these Cheshire students with the ability to submit homework, retrieve assignments, brainstorm with other students via chat and make class presentations of school projects, all from their computers at home and at school. While we may be slightly more open to using technology here at Cheshire Academy than many other schools, I can easily see the day wherein this has become the norm for classroom operation" says Cheshire Academys Stephen Wilmarth. Mr. Wilmarth has been the driving force at Cheshire Academy for the introduction of online collaboration technologies.

The service SP provides includes collaboration tools like, shared calendars, document sharing, project management tools and presentation tools as well as transcribed live chat. Originally developed for project collaboration within the private business sector, SP President Bruce Collen has seen his company's product, named eStudio, begin the move into educational tool with great ease and initial success.

"We feel that our product can be an excellent tool for students, parents and teachers to work and communicate more efficiently" says Bruce. "It allows everyone to be more involved, while also being convenient. In this day of budget cuts and overwhelming demands on our time, that is important. SP has taken their experience with Cheshire Academy and will further enhance their product offering to cater more fully to the needs of educators. "We expect that future versions of our core technology will include new tools for an education specific version" says Collen.
