NEW PATENTED SMOKE DETECTOR USES VISIBLE LASER BEAM TO DIRECT PEOPLE OUT OF SMOKE FILLED STRUCTURES.

Awarded US Patent Number 6,181,251 the "COMBINATION SMOKE DETECTION DEVICE AND LASER ESCAPE INDICATOR" is currently being marketed as L.I.F.E. an acronym for, "Laser Indicated Fire Escape".

Inventor, Robert Randall Kelly, is searching for partners to bring his patented smoke detector to market.

The value of LIFE is apparent, especially in multi floored buildings such as a hotel, wherein people must depend on the 'fire escape map' located on the back of a door (which is often ignored) or the hallway EXIT signs that can become obstructed by rising smoke.

A warning sound and pre-set pulsateing visible laser beam directs people to the building's exit or next LIFE station, until they reach safety. An added feature is the LIFE smoke detector will activate in the event of an earthquake and/or subsequent power outage to help direct people out of still standing structures.

LIFE is for people. Helping to protect them is what LIFE is all about. What price can you put on LIFE?
