ITM catching up with IIM's!

The Indian Institutes of Management set up by Government of India have been traditionally the topmost B-Schools. Institute for Technology and Management is a private B-School which has achieved Placement in Campus Recruitment on par with IIM's this season. ITM is pushing into Top Ten rank in Campus Placement by getting offers of Rs 14 lacs p.a. on par with best Indian offers recieved in IIM-A, IIM-Kolkata and IIM-Kozhikode

Institute for Technology and Management is a very young Business School set up by a group of Professional Managers in 1991 as a non-profit trust for Business and Technology Education. The Founder is Prof. P.V.Ramana. Since 1991, ITM has grown into 6 locations in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Warangal and Hyderabad. ITM too has placed students this season in this range wih offer supto Rs 14 lacs p.a, and many offers ranging from Rs 7 acs to Rs 5 lacs. The average pay packet is nearly Rs 4.00 lacs, which is remarkable.

ITM is excelling not only in Market performance, but in innovative programs as well. In 2002, ITM launched the first ever program designed in India to take Masters in International Business students to do a 10 week stint in Europe, learning "How to do Business In Europe" The students will spend significant time in Brussels, Lille, Nice, Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava!

A program is Global Business is being launched in July 2003 with 3 semesters "Doing Business in Europe", "Doing Business In India" and "Doing Business in China". The China semester of 4 months, where students will learn Business Chinese language, Chinese culture, Chinese accounting and financial system, Chiness Business and Political enviroment etc., is based in Shanghai. ITM will be first B-School to send a contingent of Global Managers to China!
