in Newcastle and appointed a new New South Wales General Manager to oversee business development/support in the State.

Chris brings over 30 years combined sales, managerial and business development experience to the position and has expertise in the mining industry and business information systems.

Chris joins i.Power Solutions from Datem Moore where he worked as Marketing and Business Development Manager. In this role, he formulated and implemented strategies for the restructuring and expansion of Datem Moore Technical Services and managed its growth from a team of three to more than twenty.

Prior to this, Chris worked for the Rutherford Group of companies for six years as Group Marketing Manager coordinating sales, business development and marketing for a portfolio of ten companies. During his time with the business, Chris assisted annual turnover to double, market share of specialist business units to triple and established a number of strategic alliances with major suppliers.

i.Power Solutions Automation and Services Manager, Mr Bruce Higginson said that he was delighted to welcome Chris to the team and was pleased to now offer New South Wales regional customers local sales and support by a respected industry professional and local identity.

In keeping with our regional growth strategy, we have decided to relocate our New South Wales business operations closer to our existing client base in the Hunter and Illawarra regions. We plan to expand our business and invest in the local economy by employing local tradespersons and industry professionals and procuring materials from businesses located in the Newcastle area," Mr Higginson said.
