Austin Independent School District Awards Contract to STR Software for Integrated Fax and Email Delivery System
STR Software was recently awarded a new contract from the Austin Independent School District (AISD) in Texas. STR Software will implement AventX® UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing documents from UNIX operating systems. The central office for AISD will also incorporate AventX Mail, which will enable employees to send purchase orders and other critical business documents via email.
RICHMOND, VA -- APRIL 23, 2003 /PR Web/ --- STR Software was recently awarded a new contract from the Austin Independent School District (AISD) in Texas. STR Software will implement AventX® UNIX, an electronic information delivery software product for faxing documents from UNIX operating systems. The central office for AISD will also incorporate AventX Mail, which will enable employees to send purchase orders and other critical business documents via email.
AISD selected STR Software due to its relationship with SunGard Bi-Tech, whose Integrated Financial and Administrative Solutions (IFAS) software is used by AISD for financial management and reporting. The partnership has enabled both companies to provide customers with products that integrate seamlessly with each other to create a cost-effective solution for the public sector.
STR Software of Richmond, Va., develops, markets and supports software products in electronic information delivery for host ERP applications like Oracle E-Business Suite, PeopleSoft and SAP.
