The large screen holds 16 lines with 60 characters per line. Memory can be expanded to fit the user's specific needs. As sold, the unit holds up to 600 pages of content and has a socket for external flash cards up to 128 MB. Using the USB, RS232 or IR receiver, files can be transferred to any PC or Macintosh computer.

Users can also send and receive email with any ISP. Operating on four AA batteries (rechargeable NiMH batteries - optional), it produces up to 100 hours of battery use and can be easily connected to any PC using the comm port, USB port or infrared port.
