T.D. Jakes Nicknames Author "Picasso of the Pen"

Christian novels have made a surprised splash in the publishing industry. As Christian fiction, particularly African American Christian fiction, booms, the pastor Time magazine called "America's favorite preacher" introduces readers to a heretofore little known author. Though she has won awards, Foster's name is little known. However, Jakes says, "not for long."

Out of the Shadows into the Light:
Bishop T.D. Jakes Introduces Americas Best Kept Secret

As the nation searches for sources of hope, comfort, and healing, Bishop T.D. Jakes introduces Americas best-kept secret, author Sharon Ewell Foster, whom he dubs the Picasso of the pen!"

Sharon Foster writes the books that make our spirits soar," Jakes says. It is high praise indeed for a man who appeared on the cover of Time magazine as Americas best preacher" to call Fosters writing inspirational.

As a novelist, Foster has earned a reputation among her growing and diverse fan base for good writing, wise insight, and refreshing humor that is not preachy. Though Foster writes fiction, her work has been compared to that of self-help guru Iyanla Vanzant.

Her latest effort, Passing Into Light," reveals the unparalleled richness of Fosters inspirational writing style. With its message of comfort, courage, faith, and hope, Passing Into Light" may be just what the nation needs at such a time as this.

Childhood crisis and grown-up courage collide in "Passing into Light," an encouraging story of one womans passage out of darkness. Though this sequel to Fosters Riding through Shadows," is filled with passion, suspense, and emotional fireworks, cover notes encourage readers to expect a happy ending." Publishers Weekly says readers will enjoy this story of love, prayer, and healing."

With Jakes endorsement of her uplifting prose, it is likely that Foster will soon be, like the title of her latest novel, Passing into Light."
