Designers & Agents, The fashion industrys premiere trade show will return to New York City May 5th, 6th and 7th, 2003.
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) April 25, 2003 - Known as The Fashionable Alternative Marketplace", Designers & Agents presents over three hundred of the fashion industrys newest and brightest ready to wear and accessory designers to a worldwide audience consisting of retailers, press and taste makers who attend D&A to find the newest and most innovative designs in the market.
D&As mission is to represent the best of young designers and contemporary fashion to the global marketplace. Founded in 1997 by the team of Barbara Kramer and Ed Mandelbaum, Designers & Agents overwhelming success in the Los Angles Market led to its Tokyo debut in 2002. Popular demand from within the fashion industry resulted in the Fall 2002 New York launch. Participating designers bring a fresh perspective to the trade show season after season. Its an event that encourages fashion diversity, creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
What differentiates D&A from other fashion trade show is its unique approach to the way industry shows are organized. This approach has caused other fashion trade show organizers to rethink their own events. D&As unique partnerships with other industries (automotive, publishing, design and music to name a few) the services offered to attendees, such as Internet access, and promotions offer participating designers a unique networking tool to do business and an atmosphere that presents exposure to an eclectic mix of retailers-- from large department stores to boutiques from around the globe.
The recent Los Angles Designers & Agents show featured a traditional fashion runway show at its kick off event attracting celebrities, style mavens and tastemakers as well as retailers and fashion stylists.
Designers & Agents has received recognition for its progressive and conducive atmosphere to do business from the Japans governments Department of Commerce and Englands Register of Apparel and Textile Designers.
