The Hartford Approves Common Census Billing

Common Census adds The Hartford to its growing cadre of carriers who accept invoices computed by the Common Census employee benefit management solution. Common Census software is able to enroll and invoice any product - health, life, disability, retirement, voluntary or group, even property and casualty.

Through its affiliation with Common Census, The Hartford's Group Benefits Division is pleased to offer two simplified billing options available to its Life and Disability customers:
¨   Any policyholder who receives a paper invoice may simply attach the Common Census statement to its Hartford bill for remittance; or,
¨   A policyholder can remit the information from the Common Census statement directly to the eBilling and ePay functions on The Hartford's Employer View website.

"We are excited to support the efforts of our brokers and customers in administering their employee benefits programs in a way that is most convenient for them and provides real-time access to their information. The Common Census platform can significantly reduce paperwork and enhance the quality of the employee information", says Curtis W. Barnard, Director-Service Product Development.
