"Love, Honor and Value" Wins 2003 Caregiver Friendly Award

"Love, Honor and Value" (PRWEB) April 25, 2003 -founder of the National Family Caregivers Association, has won a 2003 Caregiver Friendly Award, which is given by Todays Caregiver Magazine, the first national magazine for all family and professional caregivers. The Caregiver Friendly Awards are designed to celebrate products, services, books and media created with the needs of caregivers in mind.

Love, Honor and Value is an encouraging and practical guide for family caregivers about how to take care of themselves as they care for others. This message to caregivers," from one of its most respected activists, addresses issues such as the impact of caregiving on caregivers and reaching out for help.

Suzanne Mintz is the president and founder of The National Family Caregivers Association (NFCA), which is a grassroots organization dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of America's family caregivers.
    
Dana Reeve, the Director of the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, says, This book provides emotional insights mixed with solid practical information, written with the compassion, wisdom, clarity, and humor that can only come from someone living with the many rewards and challenges of being a caregiver for a family member. Awards will be presented at Todays Caregiver magazines annual Sharing Wisdom Caregivers Conference to be held in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. April 25th, 2003 and will also be profiled in the May/June 2003 issue of Todays Caregiver and on the magazines website, caregiver.com.
