Dump the Nude Dixie Chicks! They spoke their minds, now it's time to whine.
The Dixie are trying to back track from their anti-war stance, but remain unrepentent. So it's time for them to go back to the trailer park!
They spoke their minds, now it time to whine! The Dixie Chicks are trying in every way possible to back track from an anti-Bush statement that lead singer, Natalie Maines, made while on a European Concert Tour, and theyre getting help. ABC TV Network is pulling out all the plugs to make the Chicks look intelligent (good luck!) and acceptable.
ABCs own sourpuss news anchor, Peter Jennings, spent most of the War with Iraq delivering any good news about the conflict or President Bush with a doleful, doubting scorn. The Network was quick to predict a long, drawn out conflict while showing forty year old images from the Vietnam War of American Troops being loaded into body bags. Ratings dropped dramatically for the networks news broadcasts, but I guess they havent learned their lesson. Theyre baaack...with the Dixie Chicks in tow.
In the most wishy-washy interview Ive ever seen, ABCs Diane Sawyer tries to help the Chicks seem repentant, but Natalie and the girls would have known of it. All they did was whine about threats made against themselves, their website and their little ole relatives back in Texas. The only threat I recall hearing about as a response to the Bush comments made by Maines was that many angry fans started calling radio stations asking that the Chicks music be removed from the play lists. If Natalie didnt like that, maybe she should have kept her big, fat mouth shut!
Just in case the 'Poor us, everyone is making these horrible threats against us! card doesnt work, the Dixie Chicks have taken it all off for a Entertainment Weekly magazine cover. I guess they have decided to do what all has been celebrities do, get naked and hope for the best. Who cares? As far as were concerned, its time to DUMP THE DIXIE CHICKS. Were asking loyal Americans to stop buying their stuff, call stations and ask their music not be paid and boycott all radio and television stations that give away tickets to their concerts. Hey Chicks, stop thinking so much about BUSH.
About DUMP THE DOUBTERS: Were an organization of people tired of people who constantly tale a stand against our nation, our troops and our Government.
