CARTIS' CHIEF SCIENCE OFFICER COMMENTS ON FAKE RUMORS HE IS COOPERATING WITH BLUE INDUSTRIES INC.

CARTIS & Dr. Serigne Dioum, confirm the validity of CARTIS' patent and of their determination to sue any distributor of counterfeit CARTIS products proposed by BLUE INDUSTRIES, particularly in view of the "make-believe" Patent Submission it filed,the liquidation of its sole operating subsidiary: BLUE SAS of Pringy, France, and the rumors it spreads of Dr DIOUM's cooperation to gain some credibility.

(PRWEB) April 26, 2003 - Rumors are being spread that I, Serigne DIOUM, - Doctor in Physics, former research engineer at CNRS (National Scientific Research Center) of France and presently Chief Science Officer of CARTIS Inc. (OTC Pink sheets:CARI) and General Manager of CEFCA Sarl (the fully owned manufacturing subsidiary of CARTIS Inc. producing the patented CARTIS (TM) filtering powder) - am actively cooperating with BLUE INDUSTRIES Inc. (OTCBB:BLII).

Nothing could ever be further from the truth, although BLUE INDUSTRIES did make me an offer last summer, to join them with the powder manufacturing process and the technical know-how to duplicate the CARTIS powder & technology.

Let it be known that I straightfully rejected such offer & all other proposals they extended to me as I immediately recognized that, beside being a betrayal, both the CARTIS process and the powder are protected for the next 15 years still, by a worldwide patent N° PCT/IB98/00610 registered on April 22, 1998, with the National Office for Industrial Property through BUGNION SA of Geneva, Switzerland, which has now been confirmed by Switzerland, the People's Republic of China (under the # 98805426.4), and most recently by the OAPI (African Organisation of Intellectual Property - # 11208) in Yaounde, Cameroon.

I personally participated to every step of the elaboration of the CARTIS manufacturing process and powder, first at the National Scientific Research Center and then in CARTIS' own laboratory and can hereby testify that all of its elements, procedures, approaches and results were genuine, original and not in the Public domain, rendering the invention unique and fully patentable.

Any attempt to duplicate such powder and create similar products, even using a different process, would hence immediately qualify as Counterfeit and would subject the counterfeiter and/or any sub-users or distributors, to criminal proceedings by CARTIS Inc. and seizure of the merchandises by Customs. Furthermore, considering that the CARTIS powder concerns public health, as its effects have been proven through numerous International tests and homologations by the sanitary Authorities of several countries, criminal proceedings would also be pursued by the State Authorities of such countries for their own concerns against anyone linked to such counterfeits.

After POSEIDIS Inc. (OTCBB:PSDS) which has been duly warned on March 3rd, 2003, we are putting every BLUE INDUSTRIES' distributor on notice of our determination to sue and of the danger associated with dealings with counterfeit CARTIS products proposed by BLUE INDUSTRIES Inc.

Incidentally, I have also studied the "Powder Brewing System" Patent submission presented by BLUE INDUSTRIES Inc., which is at best a joke or worse an hoax or make believe that seems designed to lure investors or end-users into believing that BLUE INDUSTRIES is able to produce a "similar powder" to CARTIS' one, whilst the "Inventor" who, without being a specialist in the field, has nevertheless been in contact with certain technologies that he doesn't master, uses key words in an abusive manner.

We do not understand, however, why BLUE INDUSTRIES continues to spread these rumors since their sole operating subsidiary: BLUE SAS at 340 Rue de la Gare, 74370 Pringy (near Annecy), France, has been put into liquidation on April 8th, 2003, with all its approx. 15 employees being fired and without advising of any alternative operative strategy for the Group, nor filing, as it is required to do so within 5 days (!), such major development with the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).
