The Purafilter from Purafil, Inc. removes variety of gases and odors

Filter also saves energy and complies with ASHRAE 62s IAQ Procedure

DORAVILLE, GA-Purafil manufactures the Purafilter , a retrofit filter containing activated carbon and potassium permanganate to remove a multitude of gases and odors. The Purafilter works in hospitals, restaurants, airports, hotels, schools and other settings with indoor air quality problems. Available in several sizes, the Purafilter also controls airborne molecular contamination in cleanroom applications. Because the filter does not require adhesives, media react completely with gases.

In high-occupancy commercial office buildings, the Purafilter recirculates sufficiently cleaned air to save energy and capital. As part of Enersave, Purafils energy-savings program, the Purafilter reduces loads on heating and cooling equipment and meets the filtration requirements of ASHRAE 62-2001s IAQ Procedure.

For more than 30 years Purafil, Inc. has developed gas-phase air filtration technologies that eliminate and control corrosive, odorous and toxic gases from commercial, industrial, municipal and cleanroom environments.
