PushPush Theater presents its 2nd Annual
'Play With Your Food'extravaganza!
A refined reprise of last years popular event combining artistic talent with fun and food. Join Creative Loafings 2002 Critics' Pick for Best Playhouse for Varied Programming for one of our most eclectic even of the year! The evening includes various performance highlights from last season, stand-up by Punchline comedian Rob Cleveland, Sweetwater 420 brew, Candler Park Market Fine Wines, great live music by the Tom Waits cover band The Blue Valentines and plenty of edible delights from many local popular eateries.
This benefit for PushPush Theater marks the final major 'PushPush proper event in its current Zonolite Road location. Come play and celebrate change!

About the Band: The Blue Valentines is an Atlanta-based Tom Waits tribute. Led by female vocalist (yes, she sings bass), Aileen Loy and Marc Cram (vocalist, guitar, sax), Blue Valentine is rounded out by Andrew Davis (junk percussionist, banjo), David Sindrich (guitar, keys) and Ken Buck (bass). The Blue Valentines debuted at the Echo Lounge on Valentine's Day performing the Tom Waits album by the same name and featuring guest artists Bill Taft (Smoke, Jody Grind) and Deisha Oliver (Envie, American Dream). Blue Valentine is pleased to have guest artists, Deisha Oliver (cello) and Stacey Bodie (melodyhorn) join them for their "Rain Dogs" project. You can also see them in Asheville, NC, at Vincents Ear and at the Echo Lounge in East Atlanta in late May.
