   About the Author: Alice Solomon re-entered the working world after graduation from Wellesley College cum laude at the age of fifty. From 1994 to 2001, Solomon was a syndicated newspaper columnist, writing A Guide for Gorgeous Grandmas" for the MetroWest Daily News, in Framingham, MA and other newspapers in Massachusetts and Florida.
