Idokorro Mobile Inc. - a mobile IT administration solution provider - today announced the availability of Idokorro Mobile Admin version 2.2, an update to its flagship product for managing IT resources and infrastructure. Idokorro Mobile Admin allows IT support personnel to monitor systems, perform routine maintenance and respond to problem alerts at anytime and from anyplace using a RIM BlackBerry device.

The new version adds a number of improvements and new features over earlier versions of Mobile Admin. Additions in 2.2 include:

  •     BES Management, administrators can manage the BlackBerry
    Enterprise Server using their BlackBerry devices, the BES

    and MDS can be restarted, users can be added, removed, and

    IT policies can be edited.

  • File Browser now supports searching for files, and a Run feature
    has been added to run programs.

  • Many enhancements to SSH & Telnet including sending custom CTRL
    characters, symbols, larger screen sizes and a scrollback buffer.

  • Ability to unlock user accounts in Windows and Active Directory
  • Improved Microsoft SQL Server interface with ability to browse
    the database and perform SQL Queries.

The new version is available for RIM's Java-enabled series 5000 and 6000 BlackBerry wireless handhelds. The version 2.2 software is available for immediate download and 14 day trial.
