Radio Waves Announces Microwave Dishes for New Public Safety Band 4940 -- 4990 MHz

Radio Waves, Inc., The Leader in Microwave Antenna InnovationTM, announced a new line of SP microwave antennas for the recently released public safety band of 4940 -- 4990 MHz. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission this week voted 5-0 to open 50 megahertz of spectrum in the 4940-4990 MHz band for use by public safety agencies. In addition to making it easier for emergency workers from different jurisdictions to communicate with each other, the spectrum can support such services as monitoring vital signs of rescuers, sending video images of emergency scenes and special situations to command posts, or downloading floor plans directly to rescuers inside a building. The new series of SP microwave dishes is available in all sizes from 1 foot to 8 feet in diameter.
