USC Marshall School of Business MBA.PM Students Elect New AGBS Executive Board
Jeff Williams Takes Helm as President of Association of Graduate Business
LOS ANGELES -- The Association of Graduate Business Students at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business announced today that the MBA for Professionals and Managers program has elected a new student executive board. The AGBS executive board for the MBA.PM program is the USC part-time MBA programs student governing body. The executive board, composed of student volunteers, will begin its one-year term this spring.
Jeff Williams, a second-year marketing student, will serve as the president for the 2003-2004 year. Also elected to the AGBS.PM executive board were: Jennifer Doyle (treasurer); Sanjeev Ganatra (vice president of networking); James L. Muhlfeld and Jim Weidner (co-vice presidents of philanthropy); Elyse Klein and David DeVore (co-vice presidents of Marshall merchandise); Stacy Parady and Shana Rosengart (co-vice presidents of orientation); Shabir Rahim and Ilia Beizerman (co-vice presidents of events planning); and Eric Wein (vice president of communications and information technology).
Williams will be tasked with leading the creation and execution of vision, objectives and strategy for the Association of Graduate Business Students. He will also be the primary MBA.PM student representative to faculty and staff.

As an executive board, we are eager to work with the Marshall School of Business faculty and staff to propel the USC MBA.PM program to be the No. 1 part-time MBA program in the world."
Williams, who serves as a marketing consultant full-time for the Marshall School of Business in the office of executive development, previously served the executive board as the vice president of orientation. A native of Deerfield, Ill., Williams received his bachelors degree in business from Pepperdine University.

• Jennifer Doyle (treasurer) was re-elected to her post as the manager of finances for the AGBS.PM. Doyle is part of the public affairs and investor relations divisions of the Yucaipa Companies, a private equity company. She received her bachelors degree from Tufts University.
• Sanjeev Ganatra (vice president of networking) is responsible for building and maintaining relationships between Marshall MBA.PM students and the business community and coordinating school-sponsored speakers panels. Ganatra is a senior sales analyst at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. He received his bachelors degree in molecular biology from UC San Diego.
• Jim Weidner and James L. Muhlfeld (co-vice presidents of philanthropy) will be responsible for raising Marshall students awareness of and involvement in local community outreach programs. Weidner is a senior analyst in private equity. Weidner received his bachelors degree in business administration from Chapman University. Muhlfeld received his bachelors degree in human and organizational development from Vanderbilt University and is concentrating on corporate and real estate finance at USC.
• Elyse Klein and David DeVore (co-vice presidents of Marshall merchandise) will oversee the design, manufacture, promotion and sale of Marshall School of Business merchandise. Klein is an operations manager for William O'Neil + Co., Inc. She received her bachelors degree in business administration, finance and real estate from California State University Northridge. DeVore is a marketing consultant and founder of Bonfire Marketing & Management. He received his bachelors degree in musical arts from the University of Michigan.
• Stacy L. Parady and Shana Rosengart (co-vice presidents of orientation) will be responsible for coordinating the schools intensive two-weekend orientation program as well as serving as ambassadors to prospective students. Parady is a marketing coordinator at Paragon IC Solutions Inc., an electronic design automation company. She received her bachelors degree in business management from Utah Valley State College. Rosengart most recently served as an art history teacher at Santa Monica College and currently freelances for museums and art galleries in the subject of public relations, curatorial research and education. Rosengart has a bachelors degree in art from UCLA and a masters degree in art theory and criticism from New York University.
• Shabir Rahim and Ilia Beizerman (co-vice presidents of events planning) will coordinate social activities for the program. Rahim is among five members of the exclusive Career Advancement Program of Boeings C-17 Airlift and Tankers Program. He holds a bachelors and masters degree in mechanical engineering from USC. Beizerman is the manager of DVD operations for Paramount Home Entertainment. Beizerman received his bachelors degree in political science from UC San Diego.
• Eric Wein (vice president of communications and information technology) is a senior account executive at Edelman, a global public relations firm. His focus is on the Microsoft Xbox video games account. He received his bachelors degree in journalism from the University of Arizona.
