Local Real Estate Broker Makes a Positive Difference: Profits are Sacrificed to Extend Good Will and Comfort to Military Members and Their Families.

Lee County, FL: Brian D. Harkins, owner of Veritas Realty, takes a decisive action to thank members of our armed services and their families by donating 10% of profits in clients names. Proceeds from transactions are made to clients choice of a non-profit organization that directly aids our troops or their families.

When asked for the reasons for this altruistic decision, Harkins replies, "Sometimes the most recognized corporations are very impersonal and let bottom line profits cloud what is truly important. Businesses should support their communities especially members who serve in any capacity protecting us. Its amazing what people take for granted when it comes to our freedom and safety. Because I am the broker, Im not constrained by any bureaucracy, I can contribute back to the community without any corporate back-lash and the best part of it is, my clients will get the recognition for the donation. Its a win-win-win situation. The troops get help, my company enjoys good will and our clients get credit for the donation even though it cost them nothing."
