Three dynamic organizations known for diversity and women's events promote Deneen Vaughn to Vice President, Operations.
April 28, 2003 (PRWEB) April 30, 2003 -based organizations known for dynamic professional conferences announce the promotion of Deneen Vaughn to Vice President, Operations.
The Business Womens Network (BWN), Diversity Best Practices (DBP), and Best Practices in Corporate Communications (BPCC) host such events as the annual Diversity and Women Leadership Summit & Gala and the WOW! Facts publication launch.
Vaughn joined the organizations full time in January of this year. Since then she has played an integral role in the planning and execution of high-profile events celebrating the achievements of women and minorities in the public and private sectors.
These events are occasions honoring progressive advocates for diversity in the corporate and government sectors. This years WOW! Facts event May 1 at the National Press Club will feature the Honorable Mel Martinez, United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and former Shell Oil Chairman Steve Miller.
In addition to managing the operations of our programs, events and marketing departments, Vaughn will broaden her current area of responsibility to include management of information technology, multi-media and sales support teams at BWN, DBP, and BPCC to insure continued growth expansion.

Vaughn has extensive experience in general management, marketing, event promotions, technology, and multi-media. Prior to coming to BWN, DBP, and BPCC, Ms. Vaughn enjoyed as an entrepreneur, successfully producing conferences, recognition and incentive programs and special events for a wide variety of clients in local government, civic organizations and Fortune 500 corporations. Projects included developing outreach to various segments of the womens market and creating effective recruitment and retention initiatives.
Vaughn has also spent much of her career with telecom provider MCI, where she managed more than 350 events and produced over 100 corporate videos. A member of the International Special Event Society, Vaughn is a mother or three and serves on several committees on the Fairfax, VA school board.
