World Wide Web Communications (WWWC) has recently joined the Technology Connectors , a program of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia. The program, which strives to meet the challenges faced by non-profit arts and cultural organizations in the effective use and implementation of technology, matches volunteer technology professionals with specific technology needs in the arts and cultural community.
We have developed web sites for nearly 25 non-profit organizations and government agencies," explained Bob Savar -- most recently the Philadelphia Stroke Council, the Fisher Center for Alzheimers Research Foundation, the Jewish Community Relations Council, Women in Health Management, Cherry Hill Jewish Business Network, New York Urban League (just to name a few) -- and we are excited to be able to partner with the Technology Connectors program and volunteer our services to help the cultural community in Philadelphia with web-based solutions."
Responding to WWWCs involvement with the Council, Neville Vakharia, Program Director of the Technology Connectors, stated: We are extremely pleased that WWWC will be supporting The Technology Connectors program by volunteering the critical resources and expertise needed to provide web-based solutions to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations. Their support will enable our program to serve even more of the arts and cultural community, a sector that often has limited access to quality resources."
