Radio Campaign for Mark MacDonald's CD Release -- JUST A LITTLE LEVITY

Mark has been playing guitar in a variety of styles for over 24 years and has put that experience to use in this collection of original acoustic tunes played on a variety of guitars.

True to its name, the title track is a light melody that combines elements of Eastern and Western music with a folksy feel that is sure to make you feel better. Genetic Blues mixes it up with a Delta blues based east meets west loop-fest. Other tracks display a wide range of acoustic based melodies ranging from the beautifully classical Spanish Blues that instantly transports you to warmer latitudes, to the hip-hop beats behind the dramatic Sad Song, and the searing slide that seems to cut to the heart with the focus of a laser beam on the track Anymore.

Marks music is at once both simple and complex. Like a fine cloth whose threads upon observation reveal a beautiful pattern all their own. Painting entrancing and moving sonic experiences with a variety of mostly acoustical melodies, his music is easily accessible to the ear, and begs the listener to come closer.
