Chekmayan who has been a sought after lecturer on the topic of highly effective job search techniques has recently spoken at SUNY’s Stonybrook Campus, Harriman School of Management where he outlined for the students the process of getting a job in this economy. Said Chekmayan, “ You can’t expect to land a job by just writing a cover letter and sending off a resume. Today’s job market requires a more focused approach.”

Chekmayan who was an invited guest at CUNY’s Big Apple Job Fair on April 3rd spoke to career development counselors about his methods of training students to gain employment. “We are at a critical time with the unemployment rate climbing and more job seekers competing for fewer openings students need to be armed with a competitive edge.”

Recently he received televised coverage for the methods he presented at Newsday’s Career Forum Expo at the Nassau Coliseum.
