NAMASTA, THE NORTH AMERICAN STUDIO ALLIANCE, ANNOUNCES NEW LIABILITY INSURANCE PROGRAMS FOR YOGA, PILATES, TAI CHI AND QIGONG INSTRUCTORS AND STUDIO OWNERS.

Although mind-body professionals are involved in gentle exercise activities, a large number of instructors still do not have liability insurance. Their trade organization, NAMASTA, now offers them very affordable insurance programs.

It is estimated that over 30 million North Americans now practice some form of mind-body activity, enjoying the great mental and physical benefits of regular gentle exercise.

NAMASTA was recently founded to meet the needs of the growing population of mind-body professionals such as studio owners and instructors involved in disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Qigong, NIA, Gyrotonics, Ballecore and similar activities.

These activities present a low risk of injury for those who practice them under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
However, there are some reported cases or claims of injuries, damages or abuse brought against these instructors and the facilities where they teach.

Many instructors and personal trainers realize that they should not jeopardize their teaching careers and their assets and have asked NAMASTA to identify insurance solutions.

NAMASTA is now pleased to offer all its members several affordable insurance policies from A.M.Best "A"-rated companies.
