Conference to Address Specific Challenges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (PRWEB) May 2, 2003 -- In the cluttered environment of an industry that keeps growing despite a weak economy, healthcare marketers face the increasingly difficult task of making their organization stand out and be noticed. A conference hosted by the Knoxville chapter of the American Marketing Association (KAMA) in conjunction with the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership (KACP) and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center (TSBDC) offers expert advice on this and other challenges.
On Wednesday, May 14th, from 8:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m., Danny Fell and Adrienne Foley with Chattanooga-based marketing firm Daniel + Douglas + Norcross will address a variety of topics at Club LeConte. Besides giving a healthcare marketing overview, the specialists will talk about marketing on a small budget, sales and referral development, interactive marketing and justifying your marketing dollars.
Conference attendees interested in Continuing Education Credits are eligible for .6 CEUs. Admission for members of KAMA, KACP and TSBDC is $89. Non-members are charged $119. A special offer of free attendance is available to those who join KAMA at the event. These new members are asked to bring a completed KAMA membership application to the event and pay their membership dues of $205 in full. For this offer, the regular $30 membership application fee will be waived. Membership application forms can be downloaded from www.kama.org or requested from Jennifer Holder at membership@kama.org.
