Black Investor Organization self publishes its first set of Investing Books and Audio CDs
Black Investor Organization promotes investment education to African Americans through easy to read and understand books and audio CDs."
Realizing that there has been a great need in the African American community for investment information, Black Investor Organization has published its first set of investment books and audio CDs. The books and CDs are aimed at the novice investor as well as the experienced investor. The book and CD topics range from Direct Investing to Estate Planning and future books and CDs will cover REITS (Real Estate Investment Trust) and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds).
In my own practice as a financial advisor, I had often met African Americans who wanted to learn about investing," said Keith B. Jones Co- Founder of Black Investor Organization. The problem is that most African Americans are still puzzled by the process of getting started and what to expect from an investment. So, after years of doing seminars catering to African Americans, I finally sat down and started writing these books and completed these CDs in order to provide the best information possible so that everyone can understand."
Investing can be a complicated and a scary process and now that the market has been down, psychologically investing is hard to do right now. However this is one of the best times to buy certain types of investments. We want to get the word out to African Americans to not miss out on a buying opportunity."
