Incarna Introduces MyShow for Sharing Digital Photos
Incarna LLC announces the release of MyShow--an easy to use application for the generation and online sharing of slideshows using the Flash® file format.
San Francisco, CA, April 30, 2003 - Incarna LLC today announced the official release of MyShow 1.0 allowing you to easily generate and publish high-quality, personalized Flash® slideshow presentations from your digital photos.
?We think consumers looking to share their digital photos with friends and family are going to love the simplicity and quality of MyShow,? said Eric Hanson, Founder of Incarna LLC. ?Other applications that allow you to produce slideshows for online viewing tend to be difficult to use or trap you into some proprietary viewer technology. This means that sharing your pictures requires the recipient to install a particular player or use a specific operating system. MyShow, on the other hand, takes advantage of the ubiquity of the Flash® file format ensuring that almost anyone can view your pictures from any browser on any platform.?
MyShow features dozens of slideshow templates, advanced image effects and masks, animated transitions, soundtrack support, direct website publishing, and much more! Developed entirely in Java, MyShow will run on many different operating systems including Mac OS X, Windows 98/NT/XP, and Solaris. Additionally, MyShow is being distributed using Java Web Start technology meaning that users will be able to automatically update to new versions of the application the moment they become available.
Powered by the ReportMill ?Object Reporting? engine, MyShow has been designed with extensibility in mind. Users will soon be able to download packages of new slideshow templates and themes from within the MyShow interface as they become available.
Pricing & Availability
A fully functional trial version of MyShow 1.0 can be launched directly from the Incarna website at http://www.incarna.com. While running in demo mode, all slideshows produced by the product will include a special ?watermark.? To remove the watermark, users can obtain a license key by purchasing the product on the Incarna website for $19.99.
