In spite of the spectacular evolution of the technologies and knowledge, till now the specialists havent managed to elaborate a technology of monitoring the environment, which would combine three factors: integrity, efficiency and promptness.
Now an integral characteristic of the state of the environment can be made. Even more, taking strict, determined decisions for decreasing the ecological tension became possible. Decisions which are not based only on the minimization of different chemical or physical factors in part, but decisions based on measures which guarantee the integral improvement of the environment.

- The appreciation of the ecological tension allows the forecasting of the state of a territory, of the character and the intensity of a possible ecological or social disaster.
