ABAS Down Under: CeBIT Australia and National Manufacturing Week
The new Australian sales partner abas Information Systems Pty Ltd will be presenting abas Business Software at two trade fairs. From 06 to 08 May 2003 the second Australian CeBIT will take place in Darling Harbour Exhibition Centre, Sydney. Shortly afterwards (20 to 23 May 2003), the National Manufacturing Week will lure a public experienced in trade to Melbourne.
CeBIT Australia: 06 -- 08 May 2003, Sydney
If 2002 was the start year for CeBIT Australia the organizer calculates a distinct growth in the second year: The trade fair is to be 50% larger than in the previous year. Three halls instead of two are planned. They are aiming for 500 exhibitors and 22, 000 visitors (2002: 13, 000 visitors). In just one year the CeBIT sister event in Hannover has established itself as the most important IT trade fair in the asia-pacific region. On an international level the CeBIT offshoots are increasing with events in Shanghai and Istanbul, and the CeBIT debut this year in New York.
For the first time the New South Wales resident abas Information Systems Pty Ltd will be one of the exhibitors. At CeBIT Australia, Stand 176, the abas Partner from Down Under will exhibit abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) to the Australian market.
National Manufacturing Week: 20 -- 23 May 2003, Melbourne
Prominent exhibitors and qualified trade experts characterize the National Manufacturing Week (NMW) and make it an important event for the manufacturing industry. In 2003, the NMW will be the largest event for industrial companies in Australia. Nine events will come together under one roof -- for example, from the areas of mechanical and plant engineering, material flow and materials handling, metal-working industry, control engineering and IT. At the same time as NMW, a convention with the motto Inside Manufacturing" will take place. It will include many conferences and workshops. abas Information Systems Pty Ltd will exhibit in the area of CIMtech, stand 4708.
