Purafil ESDs Drum Scrubber-100 removes broad spectrum of sewage odors
Scrubber operates efficiently and requires little maintenance
DORAVILLE, GA-Purafil ESD offers the Drum Scrubber-100 (DS-100) to eliminate a wide variety of odorous gases at residential pump stations, including aldehydes, hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, sulfur dioxide and volatile organic compounds. Sized for airflows up to 100 cfm, the DS-100 uses Purafils patented dry-scrubbing media to remove over 99.5 percent of problematic gases. Media are factory-packed in MediaSAKs, which are disposable mesh pouches layered vertically in the scrubber. MediaSAKs are easy to lift, discard and replace.
The DS-100 operates quietly at 115 volts of power and has one moving part needing maintenance, a blower; passive models are also available. The scrubbers corrosion-resistant polyethylene canister measures 22 inches (55.9 cm) in diameter; 60 inches (152.4 cm) in height, including blower; and 0.25 inches (6.4 mm) in thickness.
Purafil Environmental Systems Division is the leading manufacturer of dry-scrubbing chemical media and scrubbers. A division of Purafil, Inc., Purafil ESD was established in 1987 in response to a growing demand for high-efficiency odor control systems at water and wastewater treatment facilities.
