NYC Band G-spot Continues Their East Coast Road Trip with a Special Show at The Saint with local band Long Gone Day and recent airplay on WRAT95.9, Jersey Rock Radio Show!
After several years of honing their craft & building an enthusiastic fan base in their hometown of NYC, this spring G-spot is hitting the road and heading out along the East Coast. G-spot is planning 2-3 shows a month throughout NY, NJ, & PA. Their first stop was The Roth Regatta Festival at Stonybrook College on April 25. Followed by the May 9th show at The Saint in NJ.
We definitely feel its time to start broadening our fan base and expanding geographically, we want to continue to build from the grass roots level and find the best way to do this is by teaming up with other artists within a few hours of our home base", says G-spots lead singer Gail. G-spot is extremely excited about getting further out in the world, and psyched that we have been lucky enough to find fellow rockers like Long Gone Day to help us open doors in their hometowns". G-spot plans to expand their touring area further after the release of their second CD, due out in Fall 2003.
G-spot offers listeners original rock power pop songs with a touch of punk and some funky grooves. G-spots lead singer, Gail lights up the stage with a powerful voice, fresh provocative songs, & a sexy hi-energy performance. FM Sounds Kim Chase recently had this to say about G-spots live show besides the awesome music, the show was an amazing display of a level of energy that could melt metal. The band has fun together, which is what I really love to see, and the musicianship is top-notch. I recommend stopping by at her next gig to see what this feminine phenomenon is all about...".
They are starting to receive significant Indie and college radio airplay. And were recently selected to be a featured artist WRAT 95.9, The Jersey Rock Radio Show and Radio Crystal Blues Future Stars" and Gems" segments. A recent review in Issues Magazine predicts them to win the next Grammy, Their musicianship is top flight. They are an excellent band with strong musical influences and diverse tastes that show up in every song! The songs are well structured & played to perfection. This is definitely a group you should check out...G-Spot has what it takes to eventually merit a Grammy and I hope they keep at it long enough for me to see that happen!"
Long Gone Day is made up of four guys, born and raised in New Jersey, who are making music in its purest rawest form. Brought together simply by the thrill, love, and lack of life that exists without it...MUSIC, their major influences are the blood and sweat of life that is left out to wither and die. Their only objective, to play for the passion that drives us, the fans who continually support us and the love of unadulterated, pure bred rock and roll!" says Ant, lead singer Long Gone Day. This is about living life and nothing more...!"
