Orlando Fashion Show to Feature Spring/Summer Line by Mimi Lee
Mimi Lee, designer of a line of funky, ready-to-wear women's clothing will feature its Spring/Summer 2003 line at a fashion show in Orlando, Florida on May 14.
ORLANDO, FL -- May 5, 2003 -- The American Red Cross of Central Florida will host a fashion show featuring the Spring/Summer 2003 line by Mimi Lee, a designer of ready-to-wear womens clothing. The event will take place at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14 at Sky60 Club, 64 N. Orange Ave. in Orlando. Admission to the show will be $5 and will benefit the American Red Cross of Central Florida.
The Mimi Lee label features a fusion of exotic Hawaiian and Asian-inspired prints and casual-wear, which will be worn at the show by models from Slate Model & Talent Management, Inc. There will be a feature of denim mini skirts, tube tops, wrap tops, and other select items from the 2003 line.
According to designer Mimi Lee, The Spring/Summer 2003 is geared for the fashion-conscious woman who is looking for a funkier look in every day wear. The clothes are versatile and can be worn from the beach to the night club, depending how you put the outfits together." This is the second year Mimi Lee Designs will feature its line in a fashion show since the companys launch in 2002.
