ANNOUCING A NEW TRAVEL AGENCY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES AND FOR MATURE TRAVELERS

Fridley, MN (PRWEB) May 7, 2003 -- Easy Access Adventures -- is a full service travel agency specializing in arranging travel for people with disabilities and for mature travelers. They make all travel arrangements, including: accessible transportation, unique lodging requirements, group travel, and cruises, as well as, arranging for specialty equipment
and/or services.

To do this, they begin by meeting with the traveler personally to access individual needs and ensure destinations match those needs.

About Easy Access Adventures:

Mike Chevrette knows what it means to travel with a disability. Since a diving accident in 1979, Mike has traveled for business and pleasure and has faced many of the barriers and obstacles that must be navigated by all travelers with unique needs. He has also worked for the Metropolitan Center for Independent Living as their Information Referral and Assistance Specialist. In his spare time, Mike volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities, The Disability Institute, Becklund Outreach, The Minnesota Business Leadership Network and writing for Access Press and other publications. He received the Rose and Jay Phillips Award from the Courage Center in 1999 and the Judd Jacobson Award from the Courage Center in 2001.

Karen Kolodziejczyk currently works in the Travel and Entertainment department at a large Twin Cities Corporation Corporation. She is also a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and teaches piano. Karen has spent a lot of time working with persons with a developmental disability and has also worked as a personal care assistant.
