AGATA INTERVIEWED ON AMERICAN BREAKFAST RADIO SHOW

Monte-Carlo, Monaco, May 6, 2003/PR Web/Russian Actress, Agata Gotova, speaking from her second home in Monaco, was interviewed on the nationally syndicated radio talk show, American Breakfast on Tuesday. The Host, Phil Paleologos, interviewed Agata on her new award winning celebrity interview show, Autograph.

Autograph, which was recognized for excellence at the New York Festivals in January with a world medal, receives a gold award this month from the World Media Festival in Germany. When asked how she got started with this idea of celebrity biographies through interviews with the stars, Agata responded that she decided it was something she wanted to do, bought a camera, and the stars responded to her. So far, Michael Caine, Bo Derek, and Ben Kingsley are just a few who have had these private conversations," as she calls them. Agata, who lives by the philosophy that life is a holiday, to be lived and enjoyed, but not to be taken too lightly, does not separate the commercial aspect from the creative in her work. Like one of my interview subjects, Igor Nikolaev, a famous pop star of Russia, who needs to fall in love to write a good song, I fall a little bit in love with all of the stars I interview. We become friends on the set, and have a conversation, and in that conversation, they tell me about their lives and I tell them about mine."

American Breakfast is a nationally syndicated radio show, broadcast from the Shawmut Diner in Boston. Its Host, Phil Paleologos, a former news anchorman, believes that the hometown diner is the mirror of a communitys feelings and, therefore, the best environment to discuss the issues of American society. Agata, who does not plan things ahead, and who likes surprises in life, set her sights for Hollywood when she came to America, but broke into show business in a very different way. One of my regular activities was walking my dog down Sunset Blvd. One day Drew Barrymore came up to me, not because of me, but because she was interested in my dog, Heidi, a cute little red Pomeranian." It was from this that Agata conceived of a celebrity interview show where the stars speak differently and more reflectively than in other shows. Faces and Names, the first of these shows, airs in syndication in 22 markets in the United States, including Anchorage, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Columbus, bringing the stars of the red carpet to its viewers. Autograph, on the other hand, is a brand new series of in-depth biography/profiles in an interview setting. Autograph is not scheduled to go to syndication until after a run on a major broadcast or cable network, according to Dorothy Crompton of O2C Distribution in Los Angeles. O2C is also in talks with broadcasters in 16 countries, including France, Germany and the United Kingdom.
