Lifting As We Climb Participates in Its My Park Day!

Founder, Cathy Cousear encourages Southeast Queens residents to participate in park clean-up.

Lifting As We Climb, Inc. will be one of the many organizations participating in Its My Park Day!
Sponsored by Partnership for Parks, Volunteer organizations will spend the day cleaning up parks throughout New York City.

"We will focus on Springfield and Baisley Park", says Cathy. "Volunteers will have the opportunity to paint benches, rake leaves, pick up leaves and cut weeds".

"it should be a lot of fun making new friends and giving back to the community at the same time".

Its My Park Day! will be held May 17, 2003. We will start at 10:00 and should be finished around 2:00pm.
