The TL-EmbSBC 845 incorporates the Intel® advanced 845G Chipset Memory Controller hub and supports 478-pin Intel® Pentium 4 processors of 1.3GHz, up to 3.06GHz+ with FSB 533MHz/400MHz. The TL-EmbSBC 845 also supports Pentium® 4 processor with 256-KB L2 and 512-KB L2 cache on 0.13 micron process.

The I/O functions of TL-EmbSBC 845 integrated with ICH4. It supports graphics device (IGD) on the GMCH with 3D, 2D that gives you the maximum video capabilities and qualities. With Winbond 83627HF, it supports IrDA, Parallel, COM1 (RS232), COM2 (RS232/422/485), FDC (up to 2.88MB, 3 modes support), and hardware monitoring. The system memory can support up to 2GB by using two on-board DDR sockets.

TL-EmbSBC 845 supports TV out and LVDS with the use of the Chrontel CH7017 display controller device. The Chrontel CH7017 has two digital graphics input data streams. One data stream outputs through an LVDS transmitter to an LCD panel, while the other data stream is encoded for NTSC or PAL TV and outputs through a 10-bit high speed DAC. The TV encoder device encodes a graphics signal up to 1024x768 resolution and outputs the video signals according to NTSC or PAL standards. The LVDS transmitter operates at pixel speeds up to 165MHz per link, supporting 1600x1200 panels at 60Hz refresh rate.

The TL-EmbSBC 845 comes with Ethernet functionality, the primary LAN integrated on ICH4's LAN controller and the optional secondary LAN using Intel® 8254 (Gigabit LAN) or 82551QM (10/100Mb LAN). The board also supports AC97 audio, 4 COM ports, UDMA 100, 4 USB ports (USB 1.1/2.0 standard), Watchdog Timer and a PCI slot for expandability. Dimensions of the board are 8" x 5.75" (203mm x 146mm).
