Primitive Radio Gods return with a new dream-rock album for 2003

The new PRG album, "Still Electric" is available only on their band web site along with a cool collectible CD called "Mellotron On".

Best known for their #1 hit, "Standing Outside a Broken Phone Booth With Money in My Hand" that employed a B.B King sample of the phrase "been downhearted baby" against a pensive but catchy groove, the Primitive Radio Gods return with a round of heavier stuff with "Still Electric".
Maybe best described as My Bloody Valentine covering Coldplay with Elliot Smith on vocal and Mick Ronson on lead guitar...PRG pushes deeper into their melodies on this one, creating a singable collection of moody rock-pop miniworks. This one has rougher edges, but continues to provide the now-familiar PRG ear-play that this band has built its following on.
