CARRATU INTERNATIONAL AND D-QUEST TOKYO CREATE FRAUD INVESTIGATION PARTNERSHIP

Carratu International Plc, the UKs leading corporate investigation company, announced today the formation of an international partnership with Tokyo-based D-Quest Inc., the corporate investigation arm of Japans leading investigations agency, I.I. Services.

LONDON, Carratu International Plc, the UKs leading corporate investigation company, announced today the formation of an international partnership with Tokyo-based D-Quest Inc., the corporate investigation arm of Japans leading investigations agency, I.I. Services. The new venture, the first of its kind between UK and Japanese investigation companies, means that D-Quest is strategically placed to offer Carratu Internationals growing range of specialist services to the Japanese market.

Commenting on the new partnership Paul Carratu, Managing Director of Carratu International, said, We are extremely pleased to have formalised our relationship with D-Quest. Both companies are committed to this long-term partnership as we both believe there are significant advantages for each organisation. D-Quest will be able to benefit from our forty years of international experience and we can draw on D-Quests understanding of the cultural differences in Japan."

D-Quest, which was established in July 1987, currently employs 80 investigators and 10 consultants. Carratu International will implement an extensive training program for D-Quests personnel to establish proven European investigation techniques and methodologies unique to Carratu International.

Since its formation in 1963, Carratu International has established itself as one of Europes leading corporate investigators and have acted for some of the most pre-eminent companies in the world, including governments, national and multi-national corporations, financial institutions, insurance companies and law firms. Their investigations have encompassed such areas as corporate and financial fraud, counterfeit pharmaceuticals, patent and trademark infringement, intellectual property abuse, computer hacking and cybercrime. Uniquely, Carratu International is the only corporate investigation company with a complete division dedicated to the complex area of pharmaceutical investigations.
