DOAR Subsidiary Purchases ACE Audio-visual Inc. Assets

Customers to Benefit from Over 50 Years of Combined AV Expertise

May 7, 2003 (PRWEB) May 14, 2003 - DOAR Communications Inc. announced today that its subsidiary, Integrated Communications Inc. (ICI) has purchased the assets of ACE Audio-visual Inc. (ACE) from its senior lender, following a foreclosure. DOAR is the nation's leading provider of courtroom and commercial AV services. ICI, which has employed certain former employees of ACE, will do business under the trade name "ACE Communications."

The asset purchase establishes the new, combined entity as the region's dominant audio-visual integrator and creates a full-service organization offering solutions in systems integration, rentals/staging, staffing and managed services. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

The purchase does not include ACE's media duplication division. Both New York-based, the majority of DOAR's systems integration operations and those of ACE will be combined into DOAR's newly-constructed headquarters facility.
