BILLINGNETWORK OBTAINS COURT JUDGEMENT IN PATENT INFRINGEMENT SUIT

Sarasota, FL -- May 15th, 2003 - BillingNetwork, a provider of medical billing solutions and services for the healthcare industry, announced today that it obtained a federal court judgement in Tampa, Fl. on May 2, 2003 against Professional Consulting Services, Inc. for infringement of U.S. Patent No. 6,374,229 directed to a web-based medical billing system.

The parties entered into a settlement agreement in which Professional Consulting Services, Inc. agreed to be permanently enjoined from making, selling or using any medical billing system that falls within the claims of U.S. Patent No. 6,374,229. Professional Consulting services, Inc. also admitted that the patent is valid and enforceable.
