New Website Offers Networking Opportunities for Members of Two Black Greek Letter Organizations

The Ice and Ivy Network Website was launched in March 2003 is already providing a valuable service to its members and the community.

The purpose of this web based networking club is to promote business relationships among members of the first family. Membership is free and open to individuals initiated in a graduate or undergraduate chapter Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. or Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and other entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals in the community. Since it's launch, the website has provided valuable information to its visitors and members.

Members and visitors can network with each other online in the networking lounge (chat room, or at Ice and Ivy Networking events that are held monthly and posted on the Calendar along with other social and business events of interest. Members may contact each other by accessing the member directory, or search for others to do business with in the business directory.

Business owners and entrepreneurs may advertise for free in the directory, or choose to place banner advertising in the directory or in email newsletters.

The Business and Career Center provides links to employment, small business, career, and education resources, as well as helpful articles. The News and Profiles sections of the site keep members and visitors informed about national and local news and newsmakers.

Membership in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. or Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is not a requirement for membership. Although we encourage our members to maintain active memberships in their respective organizations, it is not required for membership in Ice and Ivy.
